Little India While the early Indian immigrants to Singapore resided in Chulia Street near Chinatown, most of them resettled to the present Little India in Serangoon Road, due to the induction of cattle farming on the fertile land of Rochor Road. Today, Little India is the center of the local Indian community. The best time to visit is early morning when one can enjoy the spicy aromas, colorful traditions, hustle and bustle of life in Little India.
